In his solo, Martin Kilvady’s intention is to present the work of the craftsman, his skills and knowledge, the aesthetic-poetic feeling, the dance steps that have grown dear to his heart throughout the years of studio and stage experience.

Tonight I'm sculpting the dance

Shaping my body

As craftsman hands reveal the formless clay

I'm dancing for you

Movement bends the silence

Gentle veil of music

A dancing fool carrying the weight of the world

(Martin Kilvady)
